QUANTANALYZER ALTERNATIVE

A browser-based QuantAnalyzer alternative

Backtest Lens is an alternative workflow for traders who want to analyze MetaTrader HTML reports, combine EAs into portfolios and monitor MT5 accounts without starting from a desktop analytics installation.

PURPOSE-BUILT ANALYSIS

Compare workflows, not just feature lists

Backtest Lens focuses on a browser-first path from a MetaTrader report to risk analysis, saved portfolios, public result pages and live MT5 monitoring.

01

Browser-first analysis

Open an MT4 or MT5 HTML report directly in the browser and start reviewing it without a local analytics setup.

02

Portfolio and stability tools

Combine strategies, inspect correlation, test OOS stability and explore allocations with Equity Stress controls.

03

Reports plus live monitoring

Keep backtests, account history, saved portfolios and live MT5 monitoring in one workspace.

BACKTEST LENS WORKFLOW

From one report to a five-strategy portfolio

The public examples show the intended workflow: inspect 181 XAUUSD trades and the difference between Balance DD and Equity DD, then evaluate a separate five-strategy portfolio containing 3,522 synchronized trades. Backtest Lens keeps these reports, portfolio analytics, public snapshots and MT5 live monitoring in one browser-based workspace.

01

When Backtest Lens is a better fit

Choose the browser workflow when your research starts with MT4/MT5 HTML reports, you want quick access across devices, and saved reports should connect to portfolios, public pages and live MT5 monitoring. The public MultiFXbot MT5 monitor shows how balance, equity, open positions and deals continue beyond a static backtest. This workflow is especially practical when sharing a read-only result matters more than extending a desktop application with custom plugins.

  • No analytics installation is required for the first report.
  • Private libraries connect individual reports with folder portfolios.
  • Live monitoring and uploaded backtests use the same visual language.
02

When QuantAnalyzer remains the stronger choice

QuantAnalyzer is a mature Windows application with broader import formats, Monte Carlo, What-If, money-management simulations and an extendable plugin architecture. Backtest Lens should not be presented as a complete feature-for-feature replacement. It is an alternative for a narrower browser-first MetaTrader workflow, not a clone of the desktop product.

  • Choose QuantAnalyzer for Monte Carlo and advanced simulation workflows.
  • Choose it when importing many non-MetaTrader platform formats is essential.
  • Review current licensing and system requirements on the official StrategyQuant site.
SCOPE AND LIMITS

What this analysis does not prove

  • The comparison describes different workflows and is not an affiliation with StrategyQuant.
  • QuantAnalyzer features can change; verify purchasing decisions against its official documentation.
  • Backtest Lens currently emphasizes report, portfolio and monitoring workflows rather than matching every simulation module.
HOW IT WORKS
